NOTE:- This census return clears up the difficult to read address on my grandfather,
Bertie Alfred Fitzjohn's, birth certificate. It can now clearly be seen as "Moores Place". Bertie was
not born until 1889 and therefore does not appear on this return. Emma Fitzjohn (formerly Cross from
Navestock) does appear here and confirms the link.
Emma Fitzjohn is stated as being 26 years old here in 1881, therefore born around 1855. Her marriage certificate
states that she is 18 years old in 1871 which gives a year of birth as around 1853 suggesting that she
may actually have only been 16 when married.
