Pat Gardner purchased 'Sunny View' in 1989 in order to let the property as a holiday let. The bungalow was situated in the Peak District National Park in Earl Sterndale. The photo is from 1989. Sunny View Earl Sterndale
Pat and Brian re-decorated throughout and furnished the bungalow suitable for holiday bookings. Brian built the kitchen units seen in this photo in the garage on site.
The photo from 1989 shows the units and gives an indication of the views from around the bungalow, a great place for the washing up!

In 1991 Jane and Steev Stamford needed to relocate from Chelmsford and took up the offer of moving north and ultimately renting Sunny View, son Phillip was born soon after the move. Jane and Steev Stamford moved from Sunny View to their own house in Peak Dale in 1998, Steev moved out in 2003 when the pair separated, Jane remaind and continues to live there with Phillip and Felicity.
The photo taken xmas 2004, is the view from a rear bedroom window.

(c) Holiday in Tideswell

In 1980, Pat and Brian Gardner with their children Steven, Jane and Adam, took their second Derbyshire holiday in Tideswell. They stayed in a holiday flat in the Old College - the large white building in the centre of the photo. Pat and Brian fell in love with this area and by 1987 had moved from Enfield to Lower Tean in order to be close to the Peak District. Old College Tideswell
